Description
This neutral wood toned mandala would enhance any room with its eye catching allure and beautiful wood tones. It is initially designed on a computer. It is cut from hand painted 1/8" birch sheets one layer at a time. Then, all 8 layers are meticulously glued together and sealed to form the final unique piece. It measures 11.8" in diameter and has a sawtooth hook on the back for hanging.

Trouble with Trivets
I started Trouble with Trivets 3 years ago after a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with my mother in law. I had just learned the laser cutter at the local maker space and wasn't sure what to make yet. When my mother in law pulled out 12 trivets to serve her home cooked meal, I had an epiphany! I started making my hand cut paper snowflakes into wooden trivets. Thus, Trouble with Trivets was born. Since then, my work has evolved into more intricate wall hanging mandalas.
