Description
Small ruby chips are embedded in resin in this sweet small necklace. Rubies for for royalty! they are one of the four precious stones along with diamonds, sapphires, and emeralds. they are said to promote love, nurturing, health, knowledge, and wealth.
I textured a piece of copper cut in an oval shape to serve as the backplate, soldered on the bezel to contain jewelry grade resin. The ruby chips were filled first, then the resin poured over.
A hole was drilled at the top for the designer copper chain.
The length, including the pendant is 26.5 around.
