To me the greatest thrill is takIng plain Argentium Sterling silver metal & wire and with saw, hammers, fire & imagination create unique pieces of jewelry for people to love, wear & treasure.
I discovered the joy of metalsmithing in the spring of 2006 at the Indianapolis Art Center; did my first art fair as a student in 2007. In 2010, they asked me to teach in the same studio I first learned. I still teach today.
In 2011, I quit my “day job” - taking early retirement to do this full time. Along with teaching, I also do art fairs (when we had them). In 2014, I was selected as an Indiana Artisan and invited to join CCA Gallery in Carmel, IN. I enjoy sharing my creations with people and the interaction of creating something especially designed for a customer.
