Description
Pottery: Plates - Each plate is hand built from a slab and textured with a coiled wire. I added a small, wheel thrown foot to the bottom of each plate. The clay is stained with an iron-rich mix and glazed with glass white. The plates are reminiscent of waves but are really about pathways and radical change of direction. All of my functional pottery is safe for use with food as well as intended for daily use in microwave and dishwaher. It is NOT prepared for temperature shock. Please don't transfer it from cold into a preheated oven. It will crack.
