CAST BRONZE on GRANITE BASE
This piece, MOMENTUM, is made in the traditional lost wax process of bronze casting. The rich, acid and dye patinas that are fused to the metal, heighten the rhythm, movement and passion of my creation, giving full expression to my vision. This also adds an excitement and emotional energy that typical bronze finishes do not have. The color and movement together are a powerful combination that spark the imagination of the viewer and allows them to better connect with the emotion and passion of my work.

I use a wide variety of materials to create my work—wood, wax, clay, fabric, paper, metal, etc. Every sculpture is the result of an active “conversation” between me & my materials. The process is a give & take between ideas and objects, each pushing the boundaries and limits of the other. These sculptures are cast in bronze by the traditional lost wax method, patinaed in vivid color & finished with a high gloss coating to enhance the rhythm, movement and my statement of growth, joy & freedom.
