Japanese Ninja Fox Wish Carrier

This Japanese Fox totem is a unique handmade ceramic sculpture. I love Japanese culture and thus I wanted to create some sort ninja inspired fox, delivering one of their precious rolls. The Kanji at the top of the scroll container is the japanese word for fox, 狐 (kitsune). A figurine any animal lover will like. WHAT ARE THEY? The animal messengers are small figurines designed to carry wishes to completion or to give messages to a loved one.  I had a customer gift one to his wife. He wrote a message in the paper roll telling her how he will always love her and explaining that she could write a wish, roll it up, and the animal would safeguard it for her. Isn't this the cutest story ever? ♥ +Where this idea comes from? My first prototype was made having my sister on mind. She loves magic, cute things and has a soft spot for witchy stuff, sometimes lighting up a candle or burning a paper wish.  She inspired me to make animals with the mission of bringing smiles to the people you love, carrying someone's best wishes to completion.
