Description
In this series I explore relationships within communities and open a dialogue on how we as a society will hopefully learn to redefine "other".
This mixed media piece is constructed with hand formed neon vinyl mounted in a 2" deep handmade white shadow box frame. The neon glows through sandblasted plexiglass, its intensity changing with the ambient light. The individual mesmerizing "bubbles" can go from looking quite electric to looking very soft and fuzzy. The longer you live with them, the more this ethereal and contemporary piece will reveal.
