H. Allen Benowitz, a self-taught photographer, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and a graduate from the Interboro Institute of Business, migrated to Miami, FL, in the 1960s, where he currently resides.
As an evolution from the accomplishmentsof his professional court reporting, legal videography, and videoconferencing career, the camera became a natural segue to photography, awakening an earlier passion from childhood.
Mr. Benowitz has been invited by His Majesty, King Mohammed VI, to photo journal his country’s Moussem de Tan-Tan annual festival. 20,000 tribesmen and foreign dignitaries met for a cultural and professional exchange mission south of Casablanca in the Sahara Desert. It has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage for Peace and the Humanities. Mr. Benowitz also returned from Cuba on a humanitarian mission where he photographed “Life in Cuba.” A preview of his new work from his 28-day trip to Asia is available at www.H-AllenArt.com.

H. Allen Benowitz, a self-taught award-winning photographer, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, is a graduate from the Interboro Institute of Business in Manhattan. He migrated to Miami, in 1961, where he currently resides. As an evolution of his professional court reporting & videography career, the camera became a natural segue to photography. He has been featured in the ARTnews, The International Contemporary Artists art book, The Andrews Journal, SE Florida Style & Design , Allen Benowitz * The MoMA issue of World of Art Magazine, Marquis Who's Who, Art & Beyond magazines, and Musee du Louvre. His fine art photography has been exhibited in Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Paris & New York.
