Green Man Pendant with Tsavorite Eyes - 14K Gold

This intricately detailed Green Man charm is cast in solid 14K gold. The piece is 3/4" high and 3/4" across and there are two bails on the backside through which the chain slides. Two natural 1.25mm Tsavorites are set in the Green Man's eyes. Tsavorites are green garnets and are a brighter green than most emeralds and add considerable sparkle to the pendant. The Green Man is a symbol of rebirth and a symbol of seasonal renewal. Although the Green Man may appear to be a pagan image, it has been a decorative motif in churches, abbeys and cathedrals around the world and throughout the centuries.
