Ghost Story

Kansas City’s West Bottoms is several square miles of half abandoned industrial buildings. It once thrived, but the area is prone to regular massive floods. The city eventually gave up on it. It is one of my favorite playgrounds. “Ghost Story” was shot around Halloween. KC’s West Bottoms is often called The Haunted House Capital of the World and each one blasts creepy sound effects well into the night ...all while I was walking alone down dark abandoned alleys and corners. My images are long exposures at night while lighting the scene with battery powered colored lights. Through my lighting I try to create theatrical and whimsical versions of the world around me. The artwork for sale is a museum quality, ready-to-hang metal print. My Metal prints are of the highest quality and have a magical luminescence. Their vibrant, saturated colors jump off the wall, and will last for generations. They are created by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets making them incredibly durable and scratch resistant.
