Description
This exquisite, mixed media pendant necklace features a beautiful brass filigree focal embellished with hand-crocheted, beaded, cotton thread in flaming, hand-dyed hues of red and orange. The tiny glass beads in burnished bronze lend a reflective shimmer to the fire-like tones of the fiber. The adjustable antique brass chain is adjustable -- 24 inches to 27 inches. It is secured with an antique brass lobster claw clasp.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
Color, texture and imagination, often inspired by my observations of the natural world and works of art, are the key components in my creations.
