Escape Route

Escape Route was a feel-good image from the start. I was staying near the small, pretty town of Stuart in Florida, and had rented a scooter to explore the area and maybe find a place to shoot at night. All day I rode along the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, while visiting small quaint towns in the area. I eventually made my way to the town of Jensen Beach, where they have an annual Pineapple Festival. I found the little pier in Jensen Beach Causeway Park, a popular park for swimming, cooking out and boating. I knew immediately that I'd be back with my camera. The next day I arrived with my wife Nikki, and on a clear warm night, I lit up the pier and brought her into my world My images are long exposures at night while lighting the scene with battery powered colored lights. Through my lighting I try to create theatrical and whimsical versions of the world around me. The artwork for sale is a museum quality, ready-to-hang metal print. My Metal prints are of the highest quality and have a magical luminescence. Their vibrant, saturated colors jump off the wall, and will last for generations. They are created by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets making them incredibly durable and scratch resistant.
