Bound by Words

Limited edition reproductions - available in various sizes on Epson fine art matte paper or canvas giclée. The canvas giclees are mounted on a 1.5 inch wooden frame, wired, and ready to hang. In 2016, I completed my piece "Tomorrow's Passage" which is a rabbit sitting on a typewriter looking off into the distance. That piece conveys the theme of looking ahead to tomorrow and how there's are still chapters to be written. I completed "Bound by Words" three years later in 2019 almost as a companion piece. With the stack of books, the idea is a little more retrospective and a little more nostalgic. Here the rabbit looks back at life, and treasures the moments and the memories. Additionally, there's also a more straightforward take - the love of books and reading. And actually, the poem written to accompany this piece addresses that interpretation.
