Description
This organic form is created from a single piece of Basswood, and is shaped to emulate botanical life -possibly an aquatic botanic object. The black markings upon the sculpture are the result of high voltage electricity (10,000 volts) being passed through the surface of the wood, The dendrite patterns are a natural phenomenon and hint at plant like design; vascular patterns on leaves, trees and root structures, mosses and lichens, etc.
