The beautiful ANGEL Handmade ornament is made from traditional materials; *PAPER SCRAP: This angel die cut image was printed in Germany on antique machines. Some of these images have been re-printed for 100 years! Paper crafting was very popular in the early 1900's, and all ornaments were handmade at home. *EMBOSSED FOIL MEDALLIONS: On the front and the back. These are handmade in Germany on 150-year-old machines. The Victorians used these same foil medallions in making their ornaments! *SPUN GLASS CIRCLE: This is made of super thin pieces of glass! They are super shiny and actually flexible because they are so thin. In the Mid Century, it was called Angel Hair and people put “clouds” of it on the mantle. There are very few people still handcrafting these. The wonderful thing about this ornament is that it’s very LIGHTWEIGHT, as it is made from PAPER! So it can hang at the end of the branch where it can be seen! I also make special TREE TOPPERS in this shop. One is shown above in the last photo.
