CHEAP THRILLS, JANIS JOPLIN / R. CRUMB COVER LP TOTE – “Cheap Thrills” was the second studio album by American rock band Big Brother and the Holding Company, and their last album with lead singer, Janis Joplin before she started her solo career. The album reached number one and stayed for many weeks in 1968. Joplin was such a huge fan of unground comic artist, R. Crumb, that she demanded he use his art, not on the back of the LP as originally intended, but on the front (with her on the back). This memorable tote is a perfect example of 60’s psychedelia and a beloved piece of nostalgia for any collector. Extendable strap can be worn over the shoulder or cross-body.
