My artwork is often the result of a spontaneous experience that triggers an immediate emotion. I enjoy photographing my surroundings while travelling. On many occasions I have been asked what is so special about the image that I am about to capture. My answer is ‘wait and you will see’. I find that photography is a perfect means to capture moments that would otherwise be erased from memory. Through my camera I can provide my own interpretation of the natural beauty that surrounds us. I enjoy sharing my perception of the varied world that we have created. Sometimes I remove colour from my images in order to highlight specific subjects. Ultimately, I hope that my art evokes a sense of happiness, awe, and appreciation by the viewer.
