In creating this piece, I was offering an alternate perspective of our beloved city of Toronto on Lake Ontario. Imagining a glimpse of how the land may have appeared before we made our ‘alterations’.
Glitches in time; alternate realities; life, in its’ endless circling back to the beginning…
Understanding that time is relative, and our time here very temporary in the grand scheme of things.
A nod to this great city that I love, but a deeper more profound reverence for the land as we found it.

Welcome to my art page, it's great to see you here!
My focus is on creating works that convey calm, excitement, or stir emotion. Through the infusion of light, saturation or desaturation of colour, I aim to produce landscapes, whether real or imagined, that are infused with ethereal light, depth and hope.
Old derelict barns and buildings that dot the landscape have caught my interest over the years. I initially found them fun to paint, however, there’s a deeper story there. Memories (not mine), contained within those barn boards can only be imagined. There’s a melancholy beauty to these old, stoic structures that we are losing... one windstorm at a time.
