Wood Bowl #731

Bowl Features: This Bowl is turned from a storm damaged Sweet Gum tree. This classic bowl is from my Woodlands Collection and features an Asian inspired simple profile with an Asian style foot. The bowl has a nice smooth, light brown grain. This would make a nice candy dish or small accent piece. The bowl measures 8-1/2" in diameter and is 3-1/2" tall. It is finished in several coats of Hand Rubbed High Gloss Lacquer. Uses: With most all Hand turned Bowls, this is primarily a functional art object. It may be used as a table centerpiece, mantel piece or displayed as an art focal point. It can also be used for Potpourri, Fruit, Nuts or Candy, but not exposed to liquid moisture. The finish is very durable, and cleaning may be done with a damp cloth. All of my work is signed by me, Serial Numbered and the species of wood recorded on the bottom.
