Acrylic & Oil Paint
12"x12"
This was one of my most proudest pieces, it was my first complete oil painting and allowed me to experience oil paints, completely on my own. I worked with oils to develop more pieces and really experiment. This piece was created in the midst of quarantine and during my time online. I created this piece to honor the healthcare workers currently working overtime and away from their families to heal the world during this pandemic. The repetition of the words, “6 feet apart. Wear a mask. Stay home. Flatten the curve.” Represented the steps that, us as individuals need to follow to flatten the curve and help get these workers back home and to their families.
