Description
For each of the three hanging flower blossom pendants on this one-of-a-kind necklace, tiny, iridescent, metallic beads were crocheted along the edges of layers of pale beige tulle using perle cotton, hand-dyed in colors reminiscent of a Frida Kahlo painting. The embellished tulle swirls out from the cupped, antique brass metal flowers, creating enchanted blooms hanging from a fine brass chain. The effect is unique and breathtaking!
The necklace is 24 inches long and closes with a brass lobster claw clasp. Each floral pendant is about 1 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches in diameter.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
Color, texture and imagination, often inspired by my observations of the natural world and works of art, are the key components in my creations.
