Description
I began this floral pendant with a pierced gold metal disk, which forms the center of the flower. I applied a green patina and then embellished the edge with petals crocheted from white cotton thread. I used green and beige/tan toned textile paints to hand paint the petals, creating a vintage look. Tiny gold iridescent glass beads were sewn into the center of the flower to give a seed effect. The flower pendant hangs from an embossed brass bail attached to an 18 inch brass chain. The length is adjustable to about 20 inches.
The pendant hangs to a lenght of 2 1/2 inches from the chain (including the bail)
The flower is 1 3/4 inches in diameter.
