Winemaker’s Notes:
“The Sauvignon Blanc from Livermore Valley is unrivaled in freshness and clarity of purpose. It’s the varietal that brought Page Mill Winery to Livermore Valley and will be a standard bearer for our mission.
Over the years I have sought after Sauvignon Blanc grapes that minimize the grassiness associated with this varietal and lend itself to clean, crisp aromas and flavors.”
Dane Stark, winemaker
Tasting Notes:
Page Mill’s 38th vintage of Sauvignon Blanc shows us why we continue to pursue perfect expression of the grape. From the Donovan Vineyard in Livermore Valley, this wine might remind you of the wonderful whites from Bordeaux. The Sauvignon Blanc’s principle quality is in its youthfulness. Medium to bright acidity leads into a lean, complex finish of fresh fruit and classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas of lemon and spice. It has very little grassy characteristic.
It should be served well chilled and will accompany lighter fare including salads, goat cheese and seafood….. the Spanish paella is not to be ignored with this wine…. And it is not afraid to “go it alone”…. Just open and enjoy.

Page Mill Winery started, yep, on Page Mill Rd in Los Altos Hills!!!!
In 1976, Dick Stark and wife Ome dug a hole under their home and began making wine. Son, Dane, joined the operation in 1989 and for 28 years operated the winery on Page Mill Rd until, in 2004, a decision was taken to move to Livermore Valley in order to expand production and have a dedicated tasting room.
Since that move, many things have changed including size (we're much bigger now) quality (we are receiving more awards and medals than ever before) and fruit sourcing (today we are 95% Livermore Valley appelation wines) but one thing remains the same....
We are striving at Page Mill for "Peace through wine, one glass at a time"
