The Dog Days of Farmington, presented by Tolonen Family Pet Shop, is a family-friendly community festival celebrating dogs, their owners, and the businesses and organizations that support them. As part of the Farmington Founders Festival, the event brings together local pet businesses, rescue groups, trainers, artisans, and community partners for a weekend of fun, education, and engagement.

Guests can enjoy dog-friendly activities, contests, training demonstrations, meet-and-greets, vendor shopping, and community giveaways while supporting local rescue organizations through donation drives and awareness efforts. The event promotes responsible pet ownership, strengthens community connections, and provides valuable exposure for local businesses and nonprofits.

Dog Days of Farmington aims to become a signature annual event that celebrates the special bond between people and their dogs while giving back to the community.

Artisan & Craft Market 
The Farmington Founders Festival Artisan & Craft Market celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and community. This curated market features talented local and regional artists, makers, and craftspeople offering unique, high-quality, and handmade goods in the heart of downtown Farmington.

Vendors are selected to create a diverse and engaging shopping experience for festival guests. The market is designed to highlight originality, artistic skill, and products that are thoughtfully made or designed by the vendor.

Kid Artisan & Craft Market applicants must be under the age of 18 and accompanied by a parent or legal gaurdian.  Farmington Founders Festival is not responsible for unattended children.

Kid artists are responsible for their own property and for furnishing their own tables. 

You will be provided an 8 foot table and be set up under the pavilion in Riley Park, Downtown Farmington. 

Children must be present with their work for the event. No parents are allowed to represent their child, or sell artwork without the child being present.

Kids Family Fun Area Vendor
This year, Riley Park is transforming into our brand-new expanded Family Fun Area and it’s going to be packed with excitement from morning to night. Designed especially for younger festival-goers, this space will be full of energy, laughter, and nonstop activities the whole family can enjoy.

Local businesses and organizations that work with kids will have the option to set up a 10x10 booth in (or directly around) Riley Park.  You will be required to offer a free activity or game, making this area not just entertaining, but truly community-focused.

Riley Park and the surrounding area will also feature small carnival rides (for children under 100 lbs), an  interactive inflatable zone, and live entertainment created especially for children.

The Farmington Founders Festival welcomes a diverse mix of high-quality food vendors offering fresh, flavorful, and creative menu options that enhance the overall festival experience.

Food vendors play a key role in the festival, serving thousands of attendees throughout the weekend as they enjoy live entertainment, family activities, and community programming. We are seeking vendors who can operate efficiently in a high-traffic outdoor environment and provide excellent customer service.
