Join us in Raleigh, North Carolina for the Carolina CryptidCon Tour 2026: Mermaids to Mothman—a two-day celebration of cryptids, mystery, oddities & curiosities, folklore, and fun! Explore a packed lineup of vendors, special guests, roaming entertainment, food, beverages, meet and greet, artists, authors, paranormal and cryptid experts, and cryptid fans from across the country.
Costumes are encouraged.
No real weapons. Prop weapons must be peace-bonded and approved.
Performers must stay in approved performance areas unless instructed otherwise.

Event highlights
Jim Graham Building
The Jim Graham Building is the largest of the fairgrounds buildings. During the year it hosts a variety of trade shows, festivals, agricultural and livestock events, sales showcases, exhibitions and other special events. Exhibit space can be extended with the use of outdoor tents and fencing, or installation of tent connector to adjacent facility.
Complex Amenities
Completed in 1975, renovated in 2000 and 2003. Meeting Room renovations in 2007 and 2015.
Square footage: 100,000 - fully climate-controlled
95,000 square foot main floor (main exhibit hall 380' x 250'), 3,000 square foot meeting room (50' x 60'), 2,500 square foot meeting room (42' x 60'), two office areas (14.5' x 25' each).
Amenities: entrance foyer, two offices, restaurant, six roll up doors, outside wash area for livestock
Ideal venue for livestock shows, trade shows, meetings, exhibitions and sales.

Creep It Real Band
Creep It Real is a musical duo based in Lebanon / Cincinnati, Ohio, that blends catchy melodies with playful, cryptozoology-themed lyrics.
They sing about legendary creatures like Sasquatch, Mothman, and jackalopes, framing their songs with a mix of humor and spooky imagination.
The Floating Mothman
The Floating Mothman is one of Bigfoot’s mysterious but loyal friends. With his glowing red eyes and giant wings, he glides smoothly through the crowd, almost as if he’s hovering in mid-air. Don’t let his spooky look fool you—he loves meeting people, snapping pictures, and sharing stories about his legendary roots. Always floating from one group to the next, the Mothman brings a touch of mystery and fun to every festival he visits, keeping the legend alive while making new friends along the way.

We are seeking food trucks and specialty food vendors to feed thousands of cryptid fans, collectors, and convention attendees at Carolina CryptidCon 2026 – Mermaids to Mothman Tour.
✔️ Must provide a copy of your current health department permit.
✔️ Food trucks must be self-contained or specify needs for power/water.
✔️ Vendors are responsible for grease disposal, trash cleanup, and recycling.
✔️ Menu items and pricing must be approved in advance to avoid duplication.
Setup & Parking
- Setup Times:
- Friday, July 24: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (must be ready by noon)
- Food trucks will be assigned designated parking areas outside the Jim Graham Building.
- Trucks must remain in place during operating hours.
- Breakdown is after 9 PM Saturday only.
- The event is rain or shine. No refunds for weather.
- Vendors must supply all hoses, cords, and necessary equipment.
- Event staff reserves the right to limit duplicate menu items.
- This is a family-friendly event by day, 18+ Friday night after 9 PM. Vendors must comply with this policy.
- Food Trucks will receive 4 free 2 day passes.

Carolina CryptidFest is family-friendly, but some areas may include curiosities, oddities, folklore-based exhibits, and cryptid-themed displays that could be intense, graphic, or unsettling for children or sensitive individuals.
Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to supervise minors.
Use discretion when entering sections featuring oddities, taxidermy, supernatural legends, or darker cryptid content.
The event is not responsible for exposure to materials you may deem inappropriate for your child.
Bags may be searched at entry.
No outside alcohol, illegal substances, or dangerous items.
Smoking/vaping only in designated areas.
The event may remove or deny entry for safety concerns.
By attending, you grant permission for the event to use your image or likeness in photography, video, and promotional media.
By entering the event, attendees agree:

Organizers, venue, and sponsors are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage.
