The Flint Hills PRCA Rodeo, was traditionally held on the 1st weekend of June and held the 1st weekend after memorial day, is the oldest consecutive rodeo in the state of Kansas. Located in the heart of the Flint Hills, top professional rodeo contestants come to compete in seven traditional rodeo events; Bareback Riding, Tie-down Roping, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc riding, Team Roping and Bull Riding and starting in 2024 Women's Breakaway Roping will be added. Events for kids are included in 3 performances normally held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Slack will be held Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. A parade, dances, and several other community activities round out these 3 days of "Rodeo at it's Best!"
