Every year in August, on the campus of the Arapahoe Community College, over 165 artists from around the country come to Colorado to offer art patrons the unique opportunity to buy fine art for $150 or less. The response to the festival has catapulted it into the fastest-growing show in Colorado and to being Nationally ranked the NUMBER ONE show in the country and we are the best place to find affordable arts in Denver! Just in case saving hundreds, if not thousands of dollars wasn't enough fun, we have vendors selling coffee and pastries for the throngs of art lovers who show up hours before we open the gates. Plus, you'll know that your admission fee will help students get scholarships at the Arapahoe Community College and when you buy too much art to carry to your vehicle, we have a team of golf cart drivers waiting at the exit to whisk you to your car. (Please leave your dogs at home. Thanks.)
#### THE ART
**What kind of art will you find priced at $150 (or less)? Much of the same art you see at other arts festivals. We have painting, glass, clay, sculpture, metalwork, photography, mixed media, fiber and wood. There are pieces that were originally priced at $1,000 or even $4,000 that are now $150. There is also art that is normally priced at $150 or less. There are thousands of pieces of art in the 160+ booths and all of it is affordable. **
#### SCHOLARSHIPS
**Another great aspect of the Affordable Arts Festival is that proceeds from admission ticket sales go to the Arapahoe Community College Foundation to fund scholarships for ACC Students. Not only that, but the ACC Foundation is able to have those donations MATCHED by the** [_**Colorado Opportunity Initiative**_](https://cdhe.colorado.gov/about-us/divisions/cosi-colorado-opportunity-scholarship-initiative) **(COSI), meaning that for every ticket sold, double that amount is going back to support students in need!
