Light the Night-Community Group Application

We invite your Organization to participate in Light the Night! The event has become an annual tradition for festival goers, families and businesses for 40 years. Organizations/Community Groups will have the chance to showcase a performance on stage with a 10 minute ensemble. Space is limited and not guaranteed by completing this application. Application Deadline is Friday, Nov 2 and you will be notified by the Special Events Team by Friday, Nov 9 if space allows for your performance and Organization.

Please read the following information carefully and sign this Community Group agreement. By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have thoroughly read and agree to the following regulations: 1) Only activities listed on the application may take place at the event. The group organizer or another appointed adult must be present during the time of the performance. 2) Photographs may be taken during this event and may be used in future marketing pieces. 3) Each application is approved through the event committee. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into this event. After application is received and reviewed, you will receive confirmation of your participation through e-mail by November 2nd. All decisions are FINAL. 4) All festivals presented by City of Alpharetta Special Events will be held rain or shine. 5) All special requests must be submitted in advance on the application. We cannot guarantee, but try our best to accommo-date requests. 6) All participants must arrive to the staging area 15 minutes prior to their scheduled performance. 7) Organization/participant applications received after the application deadline may or may not be reviewed for acceptance to the festival. 8) Liability Waiver and Release: I hereby assume all responsibility for, and risks and hazards of, participation in the rental activi-ty planned by my group. In consideration of the City of Alpharetta providing permission to use the space requested, I, and all members of my organization, do hereby release the city of Alpharetta, including all officials, officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, supervisors, volunteers, participants, and all other agents, of any and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind and nature, arising from and by reason of, and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from participation in the activity planned in the City of Alpharetta. By reading this information and signing this Participation Agreement, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers in the 2018 Light the Night and made a part hereof by reference.
