About the application

The Swamp Cabbage Festival Committee is currently accepting nominations for the Grand Marshal. The rank of Marshal is traditionally bestowed on a person who shows exceptional leadership qualities and deserves a place of honor. In parade organizing, a Grand Marshal is named to take the lead in the processional and in hosting festivities. The ceremonial title holder is often renowned as a community leader or cultural hero.

Terms & Conditions

This award can be given to any person, regardless of his or her place of residence, who shall provide documentary proof satisfactory to the committee. The application and all supporting documentation (copies of originals) shall become the property of the SCF Committee and will be submitted to the LaBelle Heritage Museum for historical purposes.
