Community Group Application

We invite your organization to apply for Season of Celebration! The event has become an annual tradition for festival goers,families and businesses for 40 years. Organizations/community groups will have the chance to showcase a performance on stage with a 2 to 5 minute ensemble. Space is limited and not guaranteed by completing this application. Application Deadline is Friday, Nov 8th, and you will be notified by the Special Events Team by Friday, Nov 15th, if space allows for your organization's performance.

Please read the following information carefully and sign this Community Group agreement. By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have thoroughly read and agree to the following regulations: 1) Only activities listed on the application may take place at the event. The group organizer or another appointed adult must be present during the time of the performance. 2) Photographs may be taken during this event and may be used in future marketing pieces. 3) Each application is approved through the event committee. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into this event. After application is received and reviewed, you will receive confirmation of your participation through e-mail by November 15th. All decisions are FINAL. 4) All festivals presented by City of Alpharetta Special Events will be held rain or shine. 5) All special requests must be submitted in advance on the application. We cannot guarantee, but try our best to accommodate requests. 6) All participants must arrive at the staging area 15 minutes prior to their scheduled performance. 7) Organization/participant applications received after the application deadline may or may not be reviewed for acceptance to the festival. 8) Liability Waiver and Release: I hereby assume all responsibility for, and risks and hazards of, participation in the rental activity planned by my group. In consideration of the City of Alpharetta providing permission to use the space requested, I, and all members of my organization, do hereby release the city of Alpharetta, including all officials, officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, supervisors, volunteers, participants, and all other agents, of any and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind and nature, arising from and by reason of, and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from participation in the activity planned in the City of Alpharetta. 10) Residents or organizations in Alpharetta and neighboring communities are welcome to apply. By reading this information and signing this Participation Agreement, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers in the 2019 Season of Celebration and made a part hereof by reference.
