VO: Today on the Eventeny showcase, puppies.

Amy: Simply American Dog Treat Company. We are a mobile dog treat business. Everything, all of my treats, are supposed and made in the US and when I can find really awesome partner farmers, I do that and and make the meat treats from local locally grown ingredients and I make them in my kitchen. I've been in the pet industry forever. I know enough about dog and cat nutrition to know what some of the tricky parts are and what also dogs and cats really thrive on and that's meat. So that started my quest for local farmers, local growers. Yeah, you should see what my freezer looks like. If somebody walked in they would think like eee eee eee.

VO: And the favorite treat of all the pups.

Amy: Chicken Bites. I can't keep them in stock. They look like potato chips but it’s dehydrated chicken. I sell that they snap like a chip. You can give your dog or cat a whole one. You can break it up into pieces. They're great for puppy training. They're great for senior animals that may not have a lot of teeth because when they're broken up into pieces the animal can still manage it and get a good nutritious treat. That is my best-selling treat by far. Bully Sticks were the next one and then seasonal treats. I do like a pork and seasonal fruit or seasonal vegetable.

VO: Amy, knew how to get dogs’ attention, but she found a brilliant way to be noticed by pet owners, the ones who actually have the cash.

Amy: And then I decided that my best-selling category was treats so I sold the big truck and I bought my Subaru Sambar, had it tricked out and here we are. And I saw the Subaru Sambar at an event in my town and talked to the owners and they pointed me to actually a family in Northern North Carolina in Mount Airy, which is where Andy and Mayberry is from. They have a farm and they import them from Japan and they  kind of rehab and fix him up and they sell them. They're great for Farmers. They're a lot more stable. Yeah, so it's about, with the Box open, it’s about 10 feet from stem to stern. So it fits into a 10 by 10, it's a little snug but it fits into a 10 by 10 event space which is what, you know, when we do events, that's usually how much space we get.

VO: But hooking customers with solutions is we're Simply American Dog Treat Truck really shines.

Amy: A lot of people tell me their dogs are very picky or their dogs have sensitive stomachs or their dogs are on very limited diets, and I'm able to suggest a solution that for them so they can give still give their dog a treat. So if I can have a solution for somebody who has a little bit more difficulty finding a diet-appropriate or dental-appropriate treat for their dog then I've made that connection and usually see them again.

VO: For outdoor events, it's hard to beat a great product in an eye-catching setup from a business owner as knowledgeable as Amy is with Simply American Dog Treat Truck. So reach out to her or one of our many other vendors today and start raising your event game with Eventeny.
