St Pete Pride’s Kickoff Weekend launches Pride with a vibrant celebration of community, movement, and joy. The weekend begins Friday night on Grand Central—where it all began—with music and energy filling the streets, continues Saturday with a friendly Pickleball Tournament and a Sunset on the Beach Party blending golden-hour vibes with coastal celebration, and concludes Sunday with a sparkling Drag Brunch featuring bold performances and brunch favorites for a joyful Pride finale. FRIDAY NIGHT KICKOFF: Where It All Began We return to Grand Central to launch Pride Weekend where our roots run deep. As evening falls, music and energy fill the streets, honoring the joy, visibility, and community that sparked it all and set the tone for the weekend ahead. SATURDAY PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT Serve, rally, and connect at St Pete Pride’s Pickleball Tournament, a fun, beginner-to-intermediate event in the Sunshine City. This friendly competition brings players together for movement, laughter, and Pride—on and off the court. SATURDAY SUNSET on the BEACH PARTY Celebrate Pride by the water as the sun dips below the horizon and the shoreline comes alive. With music, movement, and ocean air, this beachside gathering blends golden-hour vibes with unforgettable energy. SUNDAYS are a DRAG Brunch: Wrap up the weekend with sparkle, sass, and standout performances at Sunday’s Drag Brunch. Big personalities, bold looks, and brunch favorites come together for a joyful daytime celebration of Pride.

Saturday, May 30, 2026 SkyBeach Resort — St. Petersburg, FL Beach Party Hours: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Join us for an evening of music, entertainment, beachside fun, and Pride celebration during the Pride Kickoff Beach Party! Volunteers will help support event operations, guest engagement, setup, and breakdown throughout the evening while helping create a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment for attendees. Volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors in warm weather conditions, walking throughout the venue, assisting guests, and supporting general event operations as needed. Volunteers in this shift may assist with: - Tournament and event setup - Registration and check-in for players and guests - Directing participants to courts and event areas - Assisting with signage, tables, and supply organization - Helping vendors and activations prepare for opening - Distributing event information and schedules - Supporting water stations and hospitality areas - General guest assistance and way-finding throughout the venue This is a high-energy outdoor shift ideal for volunteers who are organized, friendly, and comfortable engaging with participants and guests in a fast-paced environment.

message This shift supports the busiest part of the beach party and assists with event closeout and cleanup efforts at the end of the night. Volunteers may assist with:Guest engagement and attendee assistance, Supporting crowd flow throughout the venue, Trash and recycling support to help maintain clean event spaces, Assisting vendors and activations during breakdown, Packing supplies and supporting event cleanup, Final walkthroughs and end-of-night operational support. This shift is ideal for volunteers who enjoy fast-paced environments and helping events finish strong.
