About the event
After a very very long 2020, AWA is planning a come back for Halloween 2021! Look forward to the guests, concerts, cosplays and games you love in a future where we can gather again to spend way too much money, get way too little sleep, and see all of the friends we've missed so much. AWA 2021 requires all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID19. If you are unable to get vaccinated or received your second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine after October 14, you may show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the 72 hours before you pick up your badge. You will not be able to pick up your membership badge without either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. If you’ve already purchased a membership and cannot meet these requirements, please email registration@awa-con.com to get your badge rolled over or transferred. Mask wearing is required at all times except in designated areas for eating. Please look at our website for the latest policies in place. If you are feeling sick the week of the convention or have been exposed please stay home. We will transfer your membership to next year or work with you to find a solution that best matches your situation. AWA is not responsible in any manner for any risks related to COVID-19 in connection the event. The World Health Organization has classified the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic and that COVID-19 is a highly contagious and dangerous disease, and that contact with the virus that causes COVID-19 may result in significant personal injury or death regardless of vaccination status.
