About the event

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED BY THE EVENT ORGANIZER DUE TO CDC RECOMMENDATIONS TO RESTRICT PUBLIC GATHERINGS FOR 8-WEEKS. Suwanee’s Glow in the Park community lantern parade features a strolling jazz band leading an illuminated pageant of light, music, and color around Town Center Park, ending with a concert at the Town Center Park stage. Watch as the sun goes down and we make our beloved park glow in the dark! With food, games, and activities for all ages, you won't want to miss our spectacular lantern parade at followed by a rocking concert. So, who gets to be in the parade? You do! This event is a community celebration of creativity; everyone is strongly encouraged to create illuminated costumes and carry their pre-made lanterns to parade together! This electrical spectacle is family and pet friendly, so everyone can join in. Prizes will be awarded for the best glow looks and costumes.

About the registration

Vendors may include businesses who wish to come to the park to promote their business. Sponsorship's are also available and may include banner placements, reserved seating, logo placement, tents, tables and chairs and other perks. Contact Amy for more details (adoherty@suwanee.com) This fee is JUST grass space at the event. Vendor must provide their own tent, tables and chairs. Vendors set up time is 3:30 pm. Vendor hours are 5 pm until 8:30 ish pm. Once the parade has ended, vendors are welcome to pack up and breakdown.

The City of Suwanee a Georgia Municipal Corporation, and its agents, employees, and representatives, thereof assume no liability or responsibility for injury or loss that may result to any exhibitor or his/her personal or corporate affects including goods for sale that may occur on the premises or may arise under Suwanee Fest activities. Applicant further agrees, consents, and acknowledges to hold the City of Suwanee, its agents, employees, and representatives harmless for any such injury or loss.

Prices

Application fees $10 Non-refundable Fee to submit application for approval. Submission of application does NOT guarantee acceptance. All vendors will be notified in a timely manor of acceptance.
Non-profit booth $75 Non-refundable This fee is for a 501C3 group to participate at the event. Groups who register as a non-profit may NOT sell food that is NOT prepared in a commercial kitchen inspected by a health department. NO cottage license businesses will be approved.
Business sponsor with activation benefits $500 Non-refundable Business booth with tents, tables and chairs provided. Banner placement at stage, stage mentions, judge at lantern contest, social media mentions.
