About the application

This application is for vendors that sell multi level marketing products. We are still working on this years festival details.  The complaint that we received last year was that there were not enough potato related foods, items or activities. So we are asking our vendors to consider selling or decorating something "potato" related.    We may even have a contest for this! The vendor application deadline is March 15,2023 11:59 pm. Any vendor applying after this time will be charged and additional $20.00
 
The Booth fee includes the City of Decherd Event Permit for vendors.  If you already have an Annual Decherd Vendor Permit please select the pricing (Permit NOT INCLUDED) that provides a $25 credit.  All vendors are required to have the permit on site and can expect a visit the morning of the festival from a city code enforcement officer verifying permits.  All vendors receiving the one day Event Permit will be given their permit at vendor check-in.  Details for the vendor check-in process will be emailed to you 10 days before the event.  
 
BOOTH FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE DUE TO NO SHOW OR RAIN.  If the festival is canceled due to COVID or dangerous weather, booth fees can be applied to next years event, refunded or considered a donation to the Old Town Decherd Merchants Association.
 
Once you click on the Start Application button if you do not have an account set-up with Eventeny, you will need to create one.  This process will request that you enter a payment method.  You will not be charged anything until your application has been approved.  Booth prices are listed below. You will be charged for the booth selected AND a 6% processing fee.
 
Special booth space and special needs requests will be accepted but are not guaranteed. We will make every effort to meet all special requests on a first come, first served basis. Additional charges may apply. Please include all booth requests on the registration form.
 
NO ELECTRICITY WILL BE PROVIDED TO VENDORS. GENERATORS ARE ACCEPTABLE BUT MUST BE QUIET.
 
This is an electronic agreement and by making payment, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

About the event

The Decherd Potato Festival is a one day celebration of the history of Decherd TN when it provided the country with potatoes. Come join the celebration with food, music, entertainment, and shopping for residents and visitors alike. This year's festival will include, but certainly not limited to: Eye of the Potato Parade Live music and entertainment Potato Patch seed swap Arts and craft vendors Food vendors throughout the festival. Potato cooking competition Children's Lil Spud Zone And MUCH MORE!!!! There will be a silent auction providing a chance to win gift certificates to local businesses, art, gift baskets and other prizes. Fun for the whole family! Festival is a from 10 am to 6pm central time.

Terms & Conditions

  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the festival.
  • Vendors will not be allowed to change booth locations. Placement is at the sole discretion of the festival committee.
  • Space for trailer tongues, doors, tables and awning must be included in the booth space purchased. Booth dimensions are 10’ x 10’, but larger spaces can be purchased.
  • The Festival Coordinator reserves the right to bar any clothing, exhibit or product that could be considered offensive or illegal.
  • Participants must supply their own tent, tables, chairs, display racks, electricity, lights, tools and any other booth support materials. Tents must be weighted to withstand weather conditions.
  • Your space is only reserved once you are approved, AND payment is made.
