About the event

The Mulvane Art Fair is an annual event hosted on the Washburn University campus the first weekend in June. With more than 80 artists from around the country, local food vendors and live music, this event is a summer favorite you won't want to miss.

About the application

The Mulvane Art Fair selects three local vendors to participate in the Art Fair, which is June 3rd and 4th. The application deadline is March 13th, with selections starting the March 20th, and information packets being sent out the following day. 
 
Once being selected, vendors will sign up for at time that work for set up at the Mulvane Art Fair, which is listed in the Agreement document.

Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Vendors:
 
  1. Vendor agrees to pay $100.00 rental fee for space to vend food and drink items at the Mulvane Art Fair on June 3 and 4, 2023.
  2. Vendor agrees to be present and ready to serve at the Art Fair:
  3. Saturday, June 3th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Sunday, June 4th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  4. Vendor agrees to obtain all necessary permits and licenses required to sell food items in Topeka and the State of Kansas.
  5. Vendor agrees to report and pay all sales taxes resulting from Vendor’s sales.
  6. FOMAM, Inc. agrees to provide adequate space and electricity as needed by Vendor.
  7. Washburn University Police Services provides overnight site security.  The Mulvane Art Museum, Friends of the Mulvane Art Museum and Washburn University cannot and do not assume any liability for loss or damage to Vendor’s property.
  8. Mulvane Art Museum or Friends of the Mulvane Art Museum, Inc. do not assume any liability for preparation of Vendor’s food items, the quality of such items, or for any claims, damage, and lawsuits resulting from vendor’s sale of food items.
  9. Vendor agrees to sell only Pepsi soft drink products in accordance with Washburn University and its contract with Pepsi soft drink products.
Vendors must include a copy of their menu, copy of their Liability Insurance Policy, and a copy of the Kansas Healthy Department License as well as the Topeka Health Department License.
