About the event

In 1982, Maxell (a previous local Japanese manufacturing company) along with the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, held the first Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival to further nurture the friendship and exchange of Japanese Culture. In 1997, the festival moved to the Georgia International Horse Park in order to accommodate the growth in size and attendance. From that simple beginning, the two-day contemporary art festival has grown to include hundreds of artist and crafter booths, a variety of food booths and entertainment from diverse cultures generally attracting an estimated 35,000 guests over the weekend. Festival goers enjoy free admission into the festival with a parking fee. The festival continues to grow and strives for excellence each year. Over the years, the festival has been awarded “Best Festival in the Southeast” at the Southeast Festivals and Events Kaleidoscope Awards. The festival has also been named a Top 20 Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society for multiple years. Scheduled during the blooming of the beautiful Yoshino Cherry Trees, the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival brings the community together focusing on cultural understanding and friendship through art, music, dance, crafts, food and entertainment.

About the application

Please be aware that all exhibitors who apply to the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival will be juried.  As a result of the jury process, the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival does not guarantee acceptance to those who have participated in previous festivals.

Each applicant must submit 5 color pictures with each application.  One picture must represent your work as it is displayed; one picture must be a workshop photo (a photo of you working in your workshop or wherever you create your works of art); the other three pictures need to represent your items as an accurate representation in size, style and quality of work.  Jury decisions are based on your photos and information provided with your application.  Please send the best photos you have available. Your photos are the most important factor in your acceptance/non-acceptance to the festival.  Exhibitor selections are based on quality and skill in workmanship, original and creative ideas as well as attractiveness of booth display.

Fully completed application, photos, payment and non-profit documentation are required for the application to be considered complete. This requirement is for everyone regardless if you have a vendor in the past. NO EXCEPTIONS.
