Artisan Open Market at Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester Sunday November 6th 10am-4pm Making a good thing even greater! An indoor artisan market hosting unique artisans & makers. A purposely gathered collection of local & regional artist, creatives & makers offering a wide array of art. Utilitarian, functional, decorative  & all facets of arts creating a unique show as well as market shopping experience for our events visitors who will find everything ranging from ceramics, jewelry, fine art, photographic arts, fashion, pottery, sculpture, wood & metal work, furnishings, home decor, scents, craft soaps and much more.

About the application

Indoor Fall  Artist Market at the JCC of Rochester, a nearly 200 thousand square ft community facility in Brighton serving the greater Rochester area.

Limited to 40 artist / vendors

A purposely gathered collection of local & regional artist, creatives & makers offering a wide array of art. Utilitarian, functional, decorative  & all facets of arts creating a unique show as well as market shopping experience for our events visitors who will find everything ranging from ceramics, jewelry, fine art, photographic arts, fashion, pottery, sculpture, wood & metal work, furnishings, home decor, scents, craft soaps and much more.

What makes this market unique for artisan vendors?

  Artist Open Market's collaboration with great venues  like JCC of Rochester, bringing even more and making a good thing even greater! Bolstering business, bringing artist and patrons together in an eventful community atmosphere!
 
The JCC also has a large number of members that support JCC events as well as promotes to the greater Rochester area.

Terms & Conditions

You will ONLY be charged if you are ACCEPTED for your selected vending dates.

NO REFUNDS: There are no refunds of the vending as vendor fees are used for promotional materials, rent and event costs. 

WEATHER: 
The market is an indoor event.

SPOT REQUESTS: 
Vendor spot requests are first-come, first served. If you do not have a spot preference, one will be assigned to you. Please note, vendor spot preferences will be highly considered but can't be guaranteed. SETUP AND BREAKDOWN: Setup time is between 7AM - 9:40AM. All vendors must be setup and ready to vend by market open (10 AM). Any vendors that arrive after market open, will have their spot forfeited and will NOT be allowed to set up. If for whatever reason, you cannot make your participating date, it is your responsibility to contact us prior to market open to let us know. Breakdown can begin anytime after market close (4PM). Breaking down early requires permission from event staff. Vendors who leave early without permission may not be invited back for future markets. 

FOOD VENDORS:
Food Vendors that do not operate out of a food truck, must make sure they have obtained a Temporary Food Permit from the Monroe County Health Department and follow all necessary guidelines (food permit and guidelines attached below). ONLY food truck vendors are allowed to operate an open flame at the market. If you are a food vendor that does not operate within a food truck, you cannot use any open flames to cook at your booth due to Rochester Fire Department event safety regulations. 

 MARKET VALUES: 
An all inclusive community for all to come together in this festive celebration of the arts. Hate is never tolerated.

I consent to all photos/ videos taken at the event to be released publicly. Community Advertising Group LLC, JCC of greater Rochester,  and affiliated businesses are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or injury during the event.

Prices

8x8 Booth Space $100 Non-refundable Single booth space is 8 feet wide and 8 feet deep. All of your display is to be contained within your 8x8 space.

Picture requirements

  • Minimum pictures required: 10
  • Each application must include at least 3 to 5 color photos of your products, at least one photo of your booth set-up, and at least one photo of you making your items or of your work space.
