About the application

This application is for food vendors only. This includes food trucks. Food/drink vendors may include any entrée/meal, snack foods, desserts, and/or nonalcoholic beverages. This does not include canned, baked and/or packaged goods. If you are selling any of the above, complete the artisan vendor application.
 
Our goal is to bring local vendors to the forefront to provide a unique community-oriented experience by ensuring variety.
 
Submission of an application does not guarantee participation at the event. Vendor space is limited.

Terms & Conditions

The City of Belmont reserves the right to approve or deny vendor applications at their discretion. The City of Belmont may close applications to certain vendor types when the allotted number of vendor spaces are filled. Vendors will receive a receipt of approval and payment confirming they have been approved to attend the event as a vendor.

 

EVENT GUIDELINES:

  • Vendor selections will be made on the basis of your provided menu and availability
  • Participation for any event is not confirmed until payment is received
  • Set-up must be complete by 1:30 pm
  • Personal vehicles cannot remain in the event area. Vendors must unhitch their towing vehicle and park it outside of the event foot print. 
  • Trucks must be open for sales and service from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm* (no early departures allowed)
  • Trucks should be self-contained for water, electricity, lighting, etc. Electrical access will NOT be provided
  • "Whisper-quiet" generators such as the Honda EUi Series inverter models or equivalent are REQUIRED. Vendors will be asked to turn off any excessively loud generators that are determined to interfere with music/performances or overall enjoy-ability of the event. No generators emitting excessive fumes will be allowed.
  • All food items must be stored appropriately inside truck
  • Grease or other contaminants must be disposed of properly. Dumping the items on the ground may result in being banned from future events. 
  • Vendors must remove all trash from their booth area
  • Applicable vendors must complete the "Temporary Food Event Vendor Application" and send to the Gaston County Environmental Health Department if accepted as a vendor
  • Vendors may be inspected at any time by the Environmental Health Department or Fire Marshal to ensure compliance
  • Any vendor found not to be in compliance will asked to leave and not invited back
  • Refunds will only be issued if you notify the event coordinator of your inability to attend and your spot is able to be filled by a comparable vendor AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. If your spot cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.

  • All application fees are processed upon approval. Refunds for vendor cancellations will only be issued if the following conditions are met: a comparable vendor is secured to fill the spot, and the cancellation notice is submitted at least 14 days prior to the event date.
  • All vendors are responsible for ensuring their booths are self-contained for water, electricity, lighting, supplies, etc. Electrical access will NOT be provided.
  • I acknowledge and agree that as a food vendor, I am solely responsible for ensuring my compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to health and safety standards, licensing requirements, and any other relevant laws governing food preparation and sales.
