About the event

This much anticipated and traditional Alpharetta fall activity includes life-size scarecrows designed and installed by local accredited Pre K - 5th grade classrooms. City staff pre-assigns the outdoor locations in parks and downtown Alpharetta. Additionally, local businesses, civic organizations, individuals, families, faith based organizations and neighborhoods are invited to participate also. Voting for "Peoples Choice" will be done from Oct 6 - 13, 2021. Rules and Regulations will be on City of Alpharetta Rec, Parks and Cultural Services Facebook Page.

Please note this application is for food vendors only. This event is free to the community and therefore only food and drinks will be available for purchase at this event.

Terms & Conditions

General Information & Agreement: Read the following information and sign this vendor agreement. By signing the Vendor Agreement, you acknowledge you have thoroughly read and agree to the regulations: 1) Only activities listed on the application may take place at the event. Only items listed on the application can be sold at the event. The vendor/participant must be present at the event booth throughout the festival unless other arrangements have been made with festival organizers. No booth sharing with other vendors. 2) Photographs must be submitted with the Misc. Vendor/Participant Application, as follows: one (1) photograph of festival booth, two (2) or three (3) photographs of items to be sold and or activities to take place. 3) Festival booth space is limited. The City of Alpharetta’s Community Services office has control over the vendors/participants accepted to the festival and reserves the right to limit booths of similar type. 4) Each application is approved through the event committee. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. After we receive the application and it is reviewed you will receive confirmation of your participation through email or mail. All decisions are FINAL. Please understand that we are unable to discuss acceptance or non-acceptance with vendors by telephone or email. Signing of this application confirms receipt of their application and follow through with this process. 5) Payment for booth space will not be processed until the vendor/participant is accepted to the festival. Booth/application fees are non-refundable. 6) All festivals presented by City of Alpharetta Community Services will be held rain or shine. 7) All vendors/participants are required to provide a quality white tent to fit the booth space rented. For safety, the City of Alpharetta requires (4) four 40-lb. weights on ALL tents in the event of unexpected weather or wind. 8) Unless otherwise indicated by the festival guidelines, tables, chairs and signs are the responsibility of the vendor/participant. Vendor/participants requesting electricity on their application must bring two (2) heavy duty outdoor 100-200-ft. extension cords for each outlet requested and a power strip. All cords must be duct taped to the ground. 9) Festival set-up & break-down times, booth assignments, and vehicle passes will be assigned by festival organizers in advance. 10) Electricity and special requests must be submitted in advance on the application. We cannot guarantee, but try our best to accommodate requests. 11) All booths must be ready 30 minutes before the festival opens. Vendor/participants must keep their booths open for the entire festival. Please do not begin breaking down booths prior to the festival’s end time. 12) Vendor/participant applications received after the application deadline may or may not be reviewed for acceptance to the festival. 13) All items sold at City of Alpharetta’s festivals must be paid directly to the vendor, unless special circumstances require an arrangement be made with festival organizers prior to the event. Fulton County Sales Tax is 7%. Vendors are solely responsible for collecting, reporting and paying all sales taxes collected to the Georgia Department of Revenue. 14) Vendors/participants must describe/list on application all activities to take place and items to be sold at the festival. If a vendor/participant displays items or conducts activities that were not listed on the application, OR has misrepresented items being sold or activities taking place in any way, the festival organizers reserve the right to ask the vendor/participant to leave the festival and forfeit booth fee. 15) Liability Waiver and Release: I, hereby assume all responsibility for, and risks and hazards of, participation in the rental activity planned by my group. In considerations of the City of Alpharetta providing permission to use the space requested, I, and all members of my rental group, do hereby release the City of Alpharetta, including all officials, officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, supervisors, volunteers, participants, and all other agents, of any and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind and nature, arising from and by reason of, and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from participation in the rental activity planned in the City of Alpharetta. By reading this information and completing this Vendor/Participant Agreement, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers in the 2019 Scarecrow Harvest and made a part hereof by reference.

Prices
