Art will be curated and artists notified of acceptance by December 19, 2025
EXHIBITION TIMELINE:
Artwork to be delivered on: Saturday, January 17, 2026 (10 am to 4pm)
Exhibition Opening: Friday, January 23, 2026 (6pm to 8pm)
Exhibition Closing: Sunday, May 3, 2026
Artwork Pick Up: Monday, May 4, 2026 (10am to 2pm)
GENERAL RULES and REGULATIONS:
The Cornell Art Museum is calling members of Painted Ladies of Palm Beach County to apply for "The Art of Her" Exhiition! (Must be a member of Painted Ladies of Palm Beach County before November 1, 2025)
Here are the details:
- Curated by Marusca Gatto, Cultural Arts Director, Cornell Art Museum
- The exhibition will be Judged by Grace Gdaniec, Program Director at Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach, Florida.
- Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and Honorable Mention.
- Exhibition opens January 23 (6pm to 8pm) - Live music and refreshments, meet and greet artists * Exhibition will be installed in the upper galleries of the Cornell and remain on view through May 3, 2026
- Special events, art talks and art demonstrations are planned at Cornell Art Museum
- Applications must be submitted by DEADLINE December 12, 2025.
- Artists may submit three (3) works of art for consideration
- Application must include high-resolution images
- Maximum size for artwork is 48" wide
- Must include sizes of artwork
- Must include a brief artist statement
- Submissions of artworks in various mediums are encouraged.
- Fee of $25 per artist is due at the time of application submittal to help defray costs and help support Cornell Art Museum programming

Terms & Conditions
By completing this application, Exhibitor shall indemnify, defend and save harmless to the extent of its insurance coverage, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and its member entities which consist of the City of Delray Beach (CITY); Business agrees to defend, indemnify and save harmless the Indemnitees, their officers, agents and employees, against any liability arising from or based upon the violation of any federal, state, county or city laws, by-laws, ordinances or regulations, including but not limited Trademark and Copyright Laws by the Contractor, his subcontractors, agents, servants or employees. Business further agrees to defend, indemnify and save harmless the Indemnitees, their officers, agents, or employees from all such claims, fees, and from any and all suits and actions for every name and description that may be brought against the Indemnitees or their officers, agents or employees on account of any claims, fees, royalties, or costs for any invention or patent, and from any and all suits and actions that may be brought against the Indemnitees, their officers, agents or employees for the infringement of any and all patents or patent rights claimed by any person, firm, or corporation.
The indemnification provided above shall obligate the Business to defend, at his/her own expense or to provide for such defense, at the Indemnitees' option, any and all claims or liability and all suits and actions of every name and description that may be brought against the Indemnitees, their officers, agents, or employees which may result from the operations and activities under this Contract whether the work be performed by the Business, his/her subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by either. This Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement include all costs and fees including attorney's fees and costs at trial and appellate levels.
