About the event

Join the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District for the 16th Annual Fair Oaks Chicken Festival. General admission and parking are free! Festivities span over the course of the day and at various locations with the main event happening at Fair Oaks Park between 3pm-8pm. Main Event Festivities (3pm-8pm) include live music by Mullet Mechanix & FBI BAND, a food court presented by SactoMoFo, craft and community vendor booths, a kid's area, craft beer booth presented by Fair Oaks Rotary Foundation, a Cluck n' Crow contest presented by Kiwanis Club of Orangevale - Fair Oaks, cornhole tournament, VIP experiences, community spirit, and much more! Pop Up Events include the Fair Oaks Villge Bawk Party (Sept. 15 between 5p-7p) and the annual Pancake Breakfast (Sept 18th between 7:30a-10:00a) presented by the Fair Oaks & Orangevale Grange #354. The event will also go hybrid! For those not quite ready to immerse themselves in a crowd, many portions of our event will be available for live streaming, offer online content for home viewing, and allow for online shopping of vendor booths. About the application

Vendors in this category are limited to non-profit organizations for the express purpose of distributing and disseminating information and educational material. Distribution of water or food is not permitted. Any applicant applying to participate in the festival as a non-profit must provide evidence of their non-profit status. A non-profit is defined as one of the following: •A corporation incorporated pursuant to the Nonprofit Corporation Law that is exempt from taxation and can show proof with a 501(c)3 form from the Internal Revenue Service. •An organization that was organized and is in operation for charitable purposes and meets the requirements of Section214 of the Revenue and Taxation Code. •10% of available booth spaces will be allocated to Non-profits. After all allocated Non-profit booth spaces have been filled, Non-profits can come in at Company Booth rate.
