About the event

March 27th-28th, 2021 | Downtown Crystal River Produced by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce | ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Florida Manatee Festival returns March 27th-28th, 2021. Come join the celebration in downtown Crystal River as we honor our most famous resident! Now in our 34th year, the Florida Manatee Festival is presented by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce. Celebrating with food, music, entertainment and frivolity for residents and visitors alike. Over 20,000 people each year flock to Historic Downtown Crystal River, making The Florida Manatee Festival consistently chosen one of the Best of the Best Festivals by the readers of the Citrus County Chronicle. For the past five years Festival goers have been able to board free bus tours to Three Sisters Springs. The tours that are run continuously during the festival weekend, are conducted in cooperation with the City of Crystal River and the Friends of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, allowing visitors to see manatees in their natural settings. Catch the tour bus at the corner of N.W. 1st Avenue and N.E. 5th Street. For a nominal charge, Manatee Boat Tours are available from the City Pier at the end of N.E. Third Street for a trip into Kings Bay and other favorite manatee hangouts. Back on land, the sound of music fills the air with live entertainment on three different stages, while visitors enjoy the offerings of fine arts and craft artisans. A beer & wine garden and two food courts serving up a wide menu of delights; from fresh seafood to authentic, local BBQ and everything in between. Plus, International Alley, featuring food trucks, food trailers and booths filled with epicurean delights from around the world. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND . . . Heritage House Hippie Village featuring vendors, food, music and a VW car display reminiscent of the 60’s and 70’s! The Florida Manatee Festival also serves as a showcase for non-profit organizations and local commercial businesses that serve as the foundation of our community. The 34th Annual Florida Manatee Festival – March 27th and the 28th in beautiful Downtown Crystal River. Brought to you by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce.
