About the event

This much anticipated and traditional Alpharetta fall activity includes life-size scarecrows designed and installed by local accredited Pre K - 5th grade classrooms. City staff pre-assigns the outdoor locations in parks and downtown Alpharetta. Additionally, local businesses, civic organizations, individuals, families, faith based organizations and neighborhoods are invited to participate also. Voting for "Peoples Choice" will be done from Oct 6 - 13, 2021. Rules and Regulations will be on City of Alpharetta Rec, Parks and Cultural Services Facebook Page.

About the application

The annual Scarecrow Harvest community activity is our much-anticipated fall event!  Alpharetta's downtown parks and sidewalks burst with colorful and creative life-size scarecrows. If you are an Alpharetta business, family, neighborhood, civic organization or faith-based organization in our city limits, you may apply to our event.  You will design, create and install family-friendly carecrows, to be displayed in our parks and downtown Alpharetta. All location assignments to be made by city of Alpharetta staff.  Maps with a self-guided walking tour will be available when scarecrows have been installed.
