About the event

HIV Alliance is hosting its second annual block party featuring entertainment, activities and comradery to bring awareness to the importance of getting tested. We will be joined by dozens of community partners, vendors, and artist booths. This is a city-supported event the evening of June 27th in downtown Eugene. National HIV Testing Day is one of many national awareness days surrounding HIV and AIDS awareness. This national day is an annual opportunity to emphasize the importance of knowing your status and getting testing for HIV, and free HIV testing will be available throughout the event.

Terms & Conditions

1. Performance Requirements

• The Performer agrees to provide a live performance at the Pride Block Party for National HIV Testing Day 2025 on the agreed date and time. Specific time slots will be assigned by June 6, 2025.

• Performances must be family-friendly and inclusive, adhering to the values of HIV Alliance.

2. Compensation

• Performances are compensated at a rate to de determined when an offer to perform is made.

3. Technical Requirements

• HIV Alliance will provide basic sound equipment. Additional technical needs must be submitted with the application.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Performers must notify HIV Alliance immediately if they are unable to fulfill their commitment. Cancellations within 72 hours may impact eligibility for future events.

5. Liability

• The Performer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HIV Alliance, its organizers, and affiliates against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their performance or participation in the event.

6. Media Release

• Performers grant HIV Alliance permission to photograph, film, and use images or recordings of their performance for promotional purposes.

7. Code of Conduct

• Performers are expected to act respectfully toward all attendees, volunteers, and staff. Harassment or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.

8. Insurance

• Performers are responsible for their own equipment and personal liability insurance, if applicable. HIV Alliance does not provide coverage for personal property damage or loss.
