Oxidized sterling silver and 24k gold come together in this beautiful cosmic design reminiscent of a starry night. This handmade bold statement cuff with it's tube set white sapphire is one piece from my newest collection called “Galaxy”!
Using the ancient Korean technique of keum-bo, I have fused 24k gold to the surface of oxidized sterling silver. The contrast of the rich 24k gold color against the deeply oxidized and textured sterling silver is dramatic. The texture I have chosen is one that I have cut myself from thick paper and applied to my metal by roller printing it. This provides a lovely subtle background texture for my keum-bo design, a texture that is uniquely mine and will not be seen on anyone else’s designs. I have accented the cuff with one single white lab-created sapphire, a twinkling little light in the night sky. The contemporary designs of this collection compliment this ancient technique beautifully for one-of-a-kind pieces that you can be assured will be uniquely yours! Each piece is one-of-a-kind. This cuff is very comfortable to wear with its slightly tapered back edges and concave design which contours to your wrist nicely. The cuff as shown measures approximately 6 1/2” to include the opening on the interior, 6” from end to end without the opening. It is somewhat adjustable and can be squeezed gently to decrease the opening of it or pulled gently apart to increase it. I would be happy to adjust it to your size before shipping if you would like! As a guide, my own wrist measures 6 1/2” and it fits me perfectly.
The inside of the cuff in silver is a beautiful contrast to the black of the front and has a gorgeous brushed texture. It is signed by the artist...that would be me!

It is just me working in my studio. These earrings are available by custom order only. The pair you see pictured is sold. I am happy to make another pair and they will be similar but can never be exactly the same. The timing on a custom order varies depending upon what other orders I have accepted and made a commitment to. Please convo me for specifics and to inquire.
I ship from Florida, and time in transit will vary depending upon where in the US you are located. I ship USPS with tracking info, which gets to most places within 3 - 5 business days of being mailed. If you would like them faster I can ship them via USPS Priority Mail. Please choose that option at check-out.

I want you to be happy with your purchase. Each piece is handmade by me in my home studio in Sarasota, Florida. I am not able to offer refunds on custom orders or anything made to your specifications. I will, however, exchange items bought from my shop for other in stock items.
If you need to exchange your purchase, please just contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery. For Holiday purchases made between November 1st and December 20th, please contact me by January 10th and ship items back by January 15th. Once I receive your return, I will ship the new item(s) out to you.
Once an order is placed, I can not accept a cancellation. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

I am the owner of DianaHDesigns/Artful Handmade Jewelry. I design and create every piece I sell myself, from my home studio in Florida.
Jewelry designing to me is exciting, multi-faceted and ever-evolving! Being able to manipulate a flat piece of sheet metal into a dimensional, wearable piece of art has always been, and continues to be, very gratifying to me. Predominantly a metalsmith and enamelist, I do often incorporate leather, beading and wire work into my designs. I am inspired in particular by architecture and the galaxy and that is reflected in my work as they tend to be contemporary designs which are either architectural or “out of this world” in design.
I tend to design and create a "collection" and then move on to whatever is inspiring me next. I like to keep my work new and exciting and there are only a handful of items I make repeatedly, everything else is one-of-a-kind. Designs from different collections can easily be worn together, however, and my customers can add on to their selections over the years as the look is cohesive.
I enjoy being able to offer a wide variety of price points so regardless if you are looking for a great pair of earrings at $25 made with base metals or a great pair of earrings, a cuff or a pendant…or maybe all three….using precious metals to include 24k gold, I’ve got your covered! If you like my design aesthetic, there will be something in your price range. I do a limited amount of custom orders as well and would be happy to talk to you if that would be of interest!
