I love finding unique stones. Peanut Wood was definitely one of them. This petrified wood was named Peanut Wood because of the light colored areas resembled peanuts. The gem is discovered in Western Australia near the town of Carnarvon. Each stone is one of a kind and has nice smooth finish. This necklace has simple and clean lines. Easy to wear and appropriate for any occasion. A polished sterling silver bail gives a nice contemporary feel.
