Prep time. 15 minutes. Cook time. 10 minutes. Total 25 minutes Ingredients For the cookies ● ¾ cup butter softened ● ½ cup white sugar ● 1 cup packed brown sugar ● 1 egg ● 1 teaspoon vanilla ● 1 tablespoon grated orange zest ● 2 tablespoons orange juice ● 2 ½ cup all-purpose flour ● ½ teaspoon baking soda ● ¼ teaspoon baking powder ● ½ teaspoon salt ● 1 cup dried cranberries ● ½ cup chopped pecans For the glaze ● 1 teaspoon grated orange zest ● 3 tablespoons orange juice ● 1 ½ cups confectioners sugar Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugars until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and beat until well blended. 3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of orange zest and 2 tablespoons orange juice 4. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in cranberries and pecans. 5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie pan. 6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are just golden. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks. 7. In a small bowl, stir together ingredients for glaze until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies. Let stand until set.
