The Celtic Pawprint Pendant is made of sterling silver, and measures 1 1/2" tall, including the bail. It is 1 1/8" in diameter. It comes with an 18" sterling chain. Is this pendant the same on the front and back? No, there is a definite front and back to this piece. The back side is concave, which allows the pendant to be cast with slightly less silver. Because of its size, it is still a quite substantial piece of jewelry, but it is not uncomfortably heavy. How can I keep my pendant bright and shiny? Honestly, not much is needed in the way of special care. Simple wipe down your pendant from time to time with a soft cloth. If you have a silver polishing cloth, that works great, but any soft rag will do in a pinch. We do not recommend using liquid or paste type silver cleaners on any of our silver jewelry, as these types of cleaners can cause damage with repeated use.
