The Celtic Star Ring is made of sterling silver, and measures 5/16" wide. Available in sizes 4-12, whole sizes only. Can this ring be sized by a jeweler? It's always best to buy the exact size you need, but we understand that that isn't always possible. While we don't have the equipment needed to adjust the size of a ring, it is something that most local jewelry repair places can do. In general, a sterling silver ring like this one can be sized up by a maximum of one size. Anything more than that, and the metal is stretched too thin to keep its shape. Sizing a ring down to a smaller size is considerably more difficult and more expensive. What is the difference between a "pentacle" and a "pentagram"?
